Austin ESL School helps eligible students obtain a conditional admission letter to one of the partner universities. To qualify, students must enroll in the Austin ESL full-time program, have a high school diploma with a minimum GPA equivalent of 2.5/4, and meet minimum English language proficiency requirement before they can start their studies at the university or college.
SAT/ACT Waiver
University of Houston-Victoria (UHV), our partner university, is accepting The National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) to apply to UHV. This means that ACES students with Gaokao diploma are not required to take the SAT or ACT test.
Visits of University Representatives
To help you select the right university program, representatives from partner universities and colleges visit Austin ESL every term and host a session where they talk about their schools and programs. These sessions are a great way for Austin ESL students to learn more about each partner school, individual majors, and the application process.
TOEFL / IELTS Waivers
Austin ESL School builds partnerships with Texas universities and colleges to provide its students with a waiver of TOEFL and IELTS score requirements. This means that Austin ESL School students who successfully complete Level 4 will not need official TOEFL or IELTS scores to prove their English proficiency in order to apply to one or more of the partner universities and colleges.
